Legacy Medical Centers: Health and Safety Info

Due to recent events, we wanted to take the time to let you know that we are thinking of you, our staff, and our communities.  We want to assure you that Legacy Medical Centers is still open and treating patients.

Your health and wellness are of the utmost importance right now.  With that being said, we, of course, have been, and will continue to follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Heath Organization (WHO), and the Pennsylvania & Local County Health Departments.

Legacy Medical Centers will continue to do all that we can to make our space safe for your treatment.  As a member of the healthcare community, we already implement hospital grade sterilization and cleanliness standards.  In addition to this, we are being even more vigilant.  All surfaces will continuously be cleaned, additional staff safety procedures have been implemented, and additional safety protective gear has been provided.  We are so proud of our staff who immediately stepped up to the task and challenges in the last few weeks to keep you and all members of our Legacy family safe.

Upon arrival for your appointment, we will have hand sanitizer and/or hand washing stations for you to utilize.

We ask a few things to assist us in keeping our offices a safe environment for everyone:

  1. Please reschedule your upcoming appointment if you OR a family member have traveled to a high-risk area within/outside the U.S. within 14 days of your scheduled appointment (even if you are symptom-free).
  2. Please reschedule your upcoming appointment if you have been in contact with someone who has traveled to a high-risk area within/outside the U.S. (even if you are symptom-free).
  3. Please reschedule your appointment if you have a fever, mild flu-like symptoms, or any cold/respiratory symptoms.
  4. Please avoid bringing water bottles, drinks, coffee cups/mugs, snacks, or food to eat on site to prevent the spread of germs, if possible.
  5. Please bring your own pen from home to use to complete paperwork if possible.
  6. Please keep a safe distance when communicating with others.

We encourage you to continue to have conversations with your healthcare providers if you have concerns/questions.  We also recommend continuing to be extra-vigilant in efforts to minimize potential exposure by using the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and from the Pennsylvania Department of Health

As always, patient care, safety, our staff, and Legacy family are our top priorities.  Please feel free to call our office to speak to a member of our team if you have any questions at all or need additional information.

And above all, please stay safe, continue to keep your health and wellness top priorities, and stay healthy!

Sincerely,

Matt Burnett, D.C., C.C.S.M.S
