Dr. Rob Trager obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He studied skin cancer as a research assistant at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital. He also studied bladder cancer at Cellay Inc., and researched gut flora at the Antimicrobial Discovery Center in Boston.
Dr. Rob was inspired by the benefits of chiropractic care after receiving treatment for whiplash and continued his education at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. He obtained perfect scores on parts of his national board examinations, graduated summa cum laude, and was salutatorian of his class.
His clinical expertise includes low back pain and sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, whiplash, and functional laboratory testing. He is involved in clinical research, is a contributor to the medical textbook Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (2nd edition)
Dr. Rob is the author of two books about sciatica, Sciatica: Foundations of Diagnosis and Conservative Treatment and Lumbosacral Radiculopathy.
He and his wife, Carrie, live in Peters Township.
