Dr. Ross has deep ties in the McMurray area. Since he was a child, Dr. Ross has been active in multiple sports, especially soccer. During his time at Peters Township High School, Dr. Ross won 2 WPIAL soccer titles and a state runner up medal. (Go Indians!) He then went on to play 4 years at La Roche University and was a team captain on the Men’s soccer team. Dr. Ross received his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from LaRoche University.
Dr. Ross continued his education at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri, where he completed both his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and his Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation degree. During his time at Logan, Dr. Ross learned how to effectively diagnose and treat musculoskeletal disorders, as well as how to rehabilitate athletes at every level sustaining injury.
Being a former athlete himself, Dr. Ross likes to give players a competitive advantage with up to date evidence-based treatments. Dr. Ross prides himself in his ability to listen to his patients, understand and reflect their goals, and work together as a team to make their goals become a reality. Dr. Ross works with his patients to improve their quality of life so they can live without pain or loss of function.
Dr. Ross is activator certified, as well as certified in selective functional movement assessment (SFMA). Dr. Ross is also well-versed in cox flexion distraction protocol, active release technique, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).
When Dr. Ross isn’t in the office, you can find him at various concerts or playing the drums. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, weight training, spending time with friends and family, and traveling when he has the opportunity.
