  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology
  • McMurray

Dr. Pezzone is native to Upper St. Clair. In high school, he was a two-sport athlete, playing baseball and soccer. He then attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s in biology. During his time at Allegheny, he was a four-year varsity letter winner in baseball, and currently holds the school record for most doubles in a single season. During the summers, he conducted research at University of Pittsburgh’s McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine, mainly focusing on constructive remodeling of tissue.

His passion for chiropractic came about after treatment of a pitching injury during college. After seeking out some of Pittsburgh’s best orthopedic and sports medicine doctors, Dr. Pezzone felt frustrated because nothing seemed to really help. As a last resort, he sought out the laser therapy that Dr. Burnett had to offer. After just a few laser treatments and chiropractic adjustments, he was able to throw pain-free again.

Dr. Pezzone graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, in June 2018. Dr. Pezzone was an officer in Palmer’s Soft Tissue Club and Motion Palpation Club where he had the opportunity to mentor and teach younger students chiropractic adjustment techniques and sports-specific treatment protocols. When he was not in the classroom, you could find him at the gym or taking part in campus intramural sports. During his clinical experience, he furthered his training in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, trigger point therapy, cox flexion distraction therapy, and active release technique. Dr. Pezzone has attended the Pro Baseball Chiropractic Society’s Baseball and Sports Performance Conference to learn more about treating overhead-throwing athletes. He also had the privilege to provide chiropractic treatment to the Daytona State College/Embry-Riddle University rugby team.

Dr. Pezzone resides in South Hills and is eager to provide chiropractic care to his community. He has desire to work with the high school and college-level athletes and sports teams. Dr. Pezzone specializes in treatment for overhead-throwing athletes. In his free time, he enjoys working out, running, playing adult league baseball and softball, and spending time with family and friends.
